How to ruin an app apparently perfect? Well, just making a 2.0 version. The app crashes costantly under El Captain. Crashes when trying to acced to the Preferences. Crashes when trying to update an existent record. Crashes, crashes, crashes. What makes me furious is the support is just fictional. They say they would answer within 36 hours. Fairy tails. Just stay away from this app version.

It baffles my mind that the app keeps not working (El Capitan), even after the latest update. When I try to access the preferences the app freezes. It’s really not professional from a paid app (that I paid for both iOS and Mac OS X!) to not solve this issue after weeks, and to release new versions which crash anyway. It’s upsetting!!

Same bugs of 2.0. Written more than once to developers but… nothing. The guy in charge of testing / quaity control must be on vacation! CRASHED EVERY TIME I CHOOSE THE PREFERENCE MENU. EVERY TIME! SHOULD BE EASY TO TEST, DEBUG AND FIX BUT NOTHING! Enough of this! Dropping this app!

I’m using thi app for many months, maybe more than one year and it is always working great. I sync my data using Dropbox and have the app installed on my iMac, my MBP, my iPad and my iPhone 6S. Data is always synced and quickly available. I cannot understand why some users are having problems with it; configuration is not that difficulty…

Non si sincronizza con El Capitan!!!!

Fate qualcosa!!! Please intervene!!; this way it is (almost) totally useless...

Another Unhappy User

I’m sorry I spent the money on this useless app. By itself, it’s OK, but try and synch? Good luck. I finally gave up and trashed the whole thing.

**What’s wrong with the latest update. The whole app became empty - like there’s no data. Lost all the data I entered in the last year or so!! Even forced sync with icloud is not doing anything. Downgrading this app from 3 stars to 1 star until this problem is fixed! **Earlier review - Mar 13, 2014 This app has a lot of preset templates. But what it lacks is any kind of ability to create a custom template (even though the description in App Store falsely says it can create "customizable templates”). You are forced to use the provided templates, and if none of those suit one particular item you have, well, you’re basically out of luck! On first look it feels like a good app (which is why I bought it). The commonly used templates like credit cards, debit cards etc that do work, work well. That’s why the three stars. If only we could add an extra field to an existing template or create a fresh template with as many fields as we like, it would have been a good app. And oh, the mac app crashed twice already within 2 hours of purchase…

The iOS version with the new extension allows the user to tap a button, verify the password though the fingerprint scanner (iPhone 5s and up) and populate the password field in a second or so. If only the Mac version were so good. To access this version, you need to open the app, cut and paste (could be dangerous with a key logger, no?), and then return to your browser. It doesn’t matter how secure the app is if it is too clumsy to use. Apple understood this with iCloud Keychain. But oneSafe hasn’t figured this out yet. We need BOTH outstanding security AND ease of use. You got ½, and honestly I think it’s the more difficult half to configure. Now, finish the app and allow us to access our passwords painlessly as well as securely. That said, the app is nice. The encryption appears to be as good as it gets (what do I know but what I read on their site and Wikipedia). I especially like the rotating three-symbol password. Genius! If having ease of use is important to you, I cannot recommend this app until they fix the password input method. Cut and paste is not acceptable for an app of this price. At $20, it’s just not usable enough. The iOS app, though is OMG good! I’ll resubmit my review if/when the fix this flaw. If they do, I see 5 stars pretty easily.

I have the need to secure lots of passwords and data. This program has been the most graphically friendly and easy to use. I also sync between multiple devices and computers and it is 100% reliable unlike many of the competitors. It may not have subfolder capability, which I hope is a future update, but it does everything I need and does it with a flair and some design thought on my part. This is the first review i have ever written, but for this product it deserves a positive review from a loyal customer!

Unlike the iPad and the iPhone versions of this app, with the Mac version one can not have individual passwords for various categories within the app. That was the beauty of oneSafe.

This app was a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY! VERY Disappointed. The password features are poor compared to the competition (e.g. 1Password, Lastpass, etc.). The photo vault, which is why I purchassed this app, is COMPLETELY USELESS! Half of the time the app rejects the file when I try to drag and drop a photo file. The other half of the time the app crashes when I load a photo file or TRY to view a photo file. You can only view photos in a single, awkward view, and you cannot play videos… only view the thumbnail of the video file in the same awkward view. I sincerely wish I could get my money back.

This is 2015 most people have several devices such as iPads iPhones Mac computers and so on.I cant get it to sync with any of my other Devices iPhone, IPad, MacBook Pro, iMac since it only seems to work on one device I dont see that it has much advantage over just putting everything on a flash drive and locking the flash drive away. Or at least with a flash drive you can carry that in your briefcase or pocket and carry it to any Device that you want to use it on that has a USB port. Regret wasting $20 on this app. Maybe I just havent figured it out yet but if its this hard to figure out I probably never will. All of the other apps that I purchased from the Apple Store have been super easy to sync with other devices. Be careful before you waste $20. They dont even assign it a ticket number when you contact them they just give you the we Will get back to you as soon as possible. Usually that means the 12th of never.

I supose it’s OK

It works and is very coluorful but perhaps too much, so much that it’s fuzzy and indistinct. pwSafe is ugly by comparison but simpler and just works.

As of today, my sync is not working properly and you cannot contact the Support website or the Online Manual website, both say “Page Not Found” along with who owns the link. I even tried to reach support from the APP Store, same message. Product not working, Support not available…these do not make me happy. Previous Review Okay, everyone that expects there are never any glitches with any product…you’re living in a dream. I replaced a compeitor with this product after problems with syncing and also a poor experience with their support center. I don’t mind saying that I’m glad I did. Even with the recent TEMPORARY problem that arose on this last release, I’m staying put. OneSafe offers some nice features. Like any APP, there are some differences in how this APP achieves the same goeals as some of their competitors. In the last update, there was a glitch with iCloud. When I wrote my support email I immediately received a response explaining the situation and what was being done about it. In addition, I received a personalized email with 15 minutes to further explain, even though it was okay…I understood. This is what it’s about in my world, customer service that gets back to you right away, and a developer that knows there is a problem and begins working on it. My first thought was data loss, but anyone that knows computers knows they should have a back-up. Between that and my iPads which weren’t affected, my data was not lost. I’m going with a 5 because they are quick to see a problem, quick to work on a problem, and they don’t just throw up their hands and say…Oh well! Thanks Lunabee Pte. Ltd. Thanks for your work on this problem. Thanks for not giving up. Thanks for being reasonably priced!

THE OS X APP DOES NOT AUTO FILL AS THE IOS APP DOES . NOT TRULY ACROSS PLATFORM PRODUCT. APPLE SHOULD MAKE THEM STATE THAT CLEARLY IN THE DESCRIPTION! I USED THE IOS APP AND THOUGHT IT WAS GOOD, BUT HAD I KNOWN ABOUT THE AUTO FILL AND AUTO URL LAUNCH FEATURES MISSING FROM THE OSX APP I WOULD HAVE PUT THE $20.00 TOWARD MIGRATING TO ANOTHER PLATFORM. BE WARE MISSLEADING ADDS! SUPPORT ALSO NOT RESPONSIVE !

I am a long time user of OneSafe, I found it was extremely easy to use. As of 2015, I moved to 1Password mainly because OneSafe would no longer sync between devices. As a family who uses multiple devices the sync feature was the single most important function we used, as of 2015 it simply stopped working. My Macbook Air was up to date, but my family using 2 iPhones and 3 iPads were left behind. Very disappointed in the direction this product has taken as it used to be my go to for password protection and organization.

Used the iPad app for about 2 years… it was great. Installed the Mac app over the weekend and chose to sync to iCloud. Two days later I’m at work and need a password, open up oneSafe and it’s blank. Go home open up oneSafe… everthing looks good so I backup everything to a csv file but Mac app crashes… I open it up and all passwords are gone! Fortunately the cvs file was saved but I was not able to recover all of my passwords. I could care less about the $20 but the time it’s going to take to recreate my database of passwords in another app is what I’m very unhappy about.

I have been using this program for a long time. The reason I went with this program was becasue I didn’t want my passwords on some server someplace that could be hacked. I have a Macbook Pro, iPhone, and an iPad and it syncs between all 3 devices no mater what device I use to input a new password.

Anthony Molina · 10 years ago

The app looks good and works well on devices, but the syncing has been problematic since iCloud. I have multiple cards of same password, but duplicates don’t get updated. just bad experience that keeps getting worse.
