Support suggests using DropBox instead of iCloud (what?)

Updated my iPhone and the new version of this software does not work with iCloud. Thus, i contacted support and this is the response i recieved.
"Hi,
Im sorry about that.
Thats true that iCloud sync is not working very well with certain users.
I advise you to activate dropbox sync method instead of iCloud."

So I should use dropbox for an Apple app? Nah, No Thanks.
Would stick around if they had said they are working on a fix.
Time to move to an app that works.
