Sync problems continue
After all the problems I had in the past, I deleted all copies of this app from all my Macs and iDevices. I then installed this app on a Mac, created a password, select CloudKit to sync, then add documents. When I installed the app on another Mac I was asked if I already have data on iCloud, and chose yes, then the app attempted to “import” my data from the cloud but the progress bar seem to have frozen. After several crashes and repeated tries I ended up with two copies or “containers” of my data on iCloud drive. After retrying, restarting, and troubleshooting, it finally, somehow, got the data I added in the first Mac to appear in the second one (not sure how). For some reason, the process on the iDevices was very smooth and flawless. However, now everytime I add an item to OneSafe on any Mac, and open OneSafe on the other Mac I see a yellow “key” instead of the new document. I click on it, then I am asked to enter the password, then after I do the key is replaced with a yellow rectangle/frame. I used “troubleshoot” button in the Sync preferences to rebuild the cache and the app crashed. When I restarted the app, the new document displayed properly. This sequence of events is very reproducible. Unfortunately, this potentially very useful app is riddled with problems that seems to hang around despite many updates.
